Production, Engineering and Mixing Courses

The opening of our new venue in Embassy Gardens, with its fully equipped recording studio, has enabled us to offer a new course covering music production elements.

If you are 19-25 years old and interested in learning studio production skills this is definitely the course for you.

The course is facilitated by Anjelo Disons, a working producer and part of one of the youngest studio tech teams in London. He has a passion for music, production and for sharing his knowledge with others up and coming. Anjelo is the founder of The Oracle Collective, a London-based collection of musicians that work with artists from across the globe.

The course will combine 3 elements: Production, Engineering and Mixing.
Each term we will work on these aspects in sequence, building your skills across all three elements.

Production
We’ll explore different genres, producers, key DAWs and essential tools.

Engineering
You’ll learn to apply your knowledge into practical skills , vocal engineering, drum engineering…. live vs studio techniques

Mixing
Talk through different styles first, keywords; mix specific tracks that have been recorded.

The course runs on Wednesday evenings during the academic year, from 6 – 7.30pm, at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, 3 Ponton Road, SW11 7BD.

By the end of the year you will have worked on and completed your own project and we will host a listening party to share our creative output.
