Enjoy learning Violin

We make sure that at World Heart Beat Music Academy learning to play the violin is a joyful and natural process. Our young players learn at an astonishing rate, and many attend the Academy two or three times a week for lessons. The joy they show in their playing is infectious, creating happy musicians and confident performers.

We recommend coming to at least two violin sessions a week; one where reading is the main focus, and another that develops learning by ear. Our classical violin class concentrates on good instrumental technique, reading music and preparing for music exams, and our folk classes guide our young musicians into developing their ability to learn through the aural traditions of Celtic and Gypsy fiddle music. We also recommend that all of our violinists attend our orchestra.
