We are delighted to announce that we have a weekly radio show on the new Wandsworth Radio Station. You can tune in to World Heart Beat Music Hour from 4pm every Sunday evening.
Since its start in January 2015, this local and community based radio has prospered with the World Heart Beat Music Hour bringing in record numbers of listeners and becoming a highlight of the week with many special guests performing and talking live.
The students at the Academy have taken courses in radio producing and presenting and are now presenting the show each week and inviting younger students to come on as guests. This is a very exciting new venture for us and we hope that the project will go on for many years to come. Please do listen to the show and show your support to the young people taking part.
“I wanted to congratulate you for a wonderful show yesterday. It was brilliant with well thought out content, guests and interesting music from around the world and discussion of what the academy is up to. The audience figures also show the highest figure the station has had since our launch night on 12th January.”
– Jason Rosam, Director Wandsworth Radio
“We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a great opportunity for Selena to be a guest on World Heart Beat Music Hour, this will surely keep her love of violin going!”
