Raised in California, Michael Wang is a drummer and producer who creates music with authenticity and is eager to disrupt expectations.
Michael studied jazz at Manhattan School of Music and now builds on the abundant cross-pollination between jazz, electronic music, and hip hop.
Michael has been teaching drums with World Heart Beat since moving to the UK in Summer 2022, and has enjoyed helping students discover what they love about music and the drums for years prior to that, in New York City.
When he’s not teaching or producing music, you can catch Michael performing at jazz venues and other live music spaces in London.
