EFG London Jazz Festival

Tickets: £25/22.50/18/15/5

A remarkable pianist by any standard The Observer

Her sound is drenched with originality, a world class artist, composer and performer… Zoe shines as one of Britain’s most powerful compositional voices and important contemporary artists Ivors Academy

Zoe’s performance will include trio arrangements of a suite she wrote for World Piano Day 2024, commissioned by Hull Jazz Festival and Humber Street Piano sessions.

The work was based on themes of voyage, migration and family, taking inspiration from two statues in Hull – one which commemorates the 2.2million people who passed through Hull as a port city, the other which looks out across the Humber to the sea.  The suite is dedicated to a Palestinian cab driver, Mo, who she met on her travels in Hull and to his family in Gaza.

Alongside the suite, Zoe will be playing some of her new compositions and music from her latest “Colour of Sound” album.

Zoe will be performing as a trio with Gene Calderazzo (drums) and Alec Dankworth (bass).

World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens is proud be a host venue once again at EFG London Jazz Festival 2025.
