Internationally renowned jazz maestro Julian Joseph will perform at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens with the new work especially written for the festival, the Nine Elms Suite for Piano & String Orchestra, as part of the International Piano in the Elms Festival.

The composer premiers his tone poem (or symphonic poem) for Nine Elms in a suite drawing on the emotive and social history of the area, welcoming travellers to London. Joseph creates a meditative tapestry as he places the warmth of his piano sound in the heart of a exciting new string orchestra, led by the magnificent Chi-chi Nwanoku.
