Friday 22 November 2024

EFG London Jazz Festival 2024

Tickets: £17.50 to £35.00

Julian Joseph presents an exciting band with music specially written to open a new concert series featuring the startling immersive d&b Soundscape system at World Heart Beat.

Described as a revolution in the way we perceive sound, this is a must see and hear – new music that has been specifically composed by Julian to show how emotion and drama can be enhanced by the immersive technology – marrying acoustic sound with the digital processing capability that can be achieved on the fly; in a split second.

This concert is part of our Soundscape Sessions, in which we explore the capabilities of the groundbreaking system. The d&b Soundscape is a revolution in the live sound experience, which is being picked up and explored by some of the greatest innovators working at the cusp of music and technology. Its creative possibilities are further recognised by this showcase series of concerts by international composers, and award-winning creatives.

The Thistle Trust is joining us to support Julian Joseph’s Artistic residency at World Heart Beat – at the forefront of pioneering new technologies, enabling us to develop a new working model for sector-leading artist development support.

This is a seated show as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2024.
