Join us for an evening with the acclaimed Boris Grebenshikov. Described as “the Russian Bob Dylan” by BBC Culture, this concert at London’s newest concert hall will raise much-needed funds for World Heart Beat Music Academy, which provides music tuition and performance opportunities for children and young people, many of whom live in disadvantage.

World Heart Beat is an amazing idea made flesh: giving culture and education to young people who can not afford it but need it as they need air. If we talk humanitarian, this is the highest level. We’re lucky to inhabit the same world as it.

World Heart Beat Music Academy, which is a UK registered charity, transforms the lives of children and young people, offering an equality of opportunity to all, with free tuition and instruments to those who need them. We nurture the talents of the next generation in a warm and welcoming environment, which sees young people thrive. The generosity of individuals, businesses and trusts and foundations, is a vital cornerstone of our work.

Grebenshikov, who is a patron of the charity, will present an improvised programme, which he says will “flow from his heart”. Rest assured, there will be many of his much-loved classic masterpieces.Boris Grebenshikov is a prominent member of the generation which is widely considered to be the “founding fathers” of Russian rock music. He is the founder and lead singer of the band Aquarium, which has been active since 1972.
