Boris Grebenshikov: Green Star Songs
Monday 09 June 2025
Global
Tickets: £130/90
World Heart Beat is an amazing idea made flesh: giving culture and education to young people who can not afford it but need it as they need air. If we talk humanitarian, this is the highest level. We’re lucky to inhabit the same world as it.
Boris Grebenshikov
A special fundraising evening concert to raise money for World Heart Beat’s EMERGE programme, with complimentary drinks at the Beluga bar.
Join us for an evening with the acclaimed Boris Grebenshikov, described as “the Russian Bob Dylan” by BBC Culture.
Boris Grebenshikov, Patron of World Heart Beat Music Academy, will present an improvised programme which he says will “flow from his heart.” Rest assured, there will be many of his much-loved classic masterpieces. Boris is a prominent member of the generation that is widely considered to be the “founding fathers” of Russian rock music. He is the founder and lead singer of the band Aquarium, which has been active since 1972.
This show will feature Constantine Tumanov.
The concert is kindly supported by Bird&Carrot Productions.
EMERGE PROGRAMME

This fundraiser concert at London’s newest concert hall will raise much-needed funds for EMERGE, World Heart Beat Music Academy’s free, year-long training and mentoring programme for 30 teenagers aged 14-18 years, many of whom are living in some of London’s most deprived neighbourhoods.
At World Heart Beat, we believe in the power of music to change lives. But for many children in our local community, music — and a future in the creative industries — feels out of reach.
Too many face poverty, low aspirations, and limited opportunities. Only 8% of music industry jobs are held by those from low socio-economic backgrounds.
The EMERGE programme offers:
Performance training: instrumental and vocal coaching, with professional recording and concert opportunities
Tech training: hands-on experience in sound, audio and visual production, working on real recording sessions and live events
Essential skills: mentoring, self-employment finance training, and direct connections to industry professionals
BIG GIVE campaign – please support us

This fundraiser concert takes place during the Big Give Champions for Children Campaign 2025, a fourteen-day online match funding campaign providing unrestricted funding to charities working to alleviate the impact of poverty on children across London.
The Childhood Trust aims to alleviate the impact of poverty on children in London. Through its annual Champions for Children campaign, they support charities working to ensure that every child can experience a healthy, happy, and safe childhood that prepares them well for life.
Every pound given will be doubled from Tuesday 3 June (at midday) to Tuesday 17 June (at midday) which means our target of £20,000 can potentially unlock an additional £20,000 in match funding!
