On Sunday 19th May at 5.00pm, our piano student Arnaldo Cogorno had his second piano recital at World Heart Beat Music Academy. He performed works by Bach, Brahms and Chopin.
Arnaldo, who came to the UK from Venezuela last year to study music, has been receiving lessons from Michael Csányi-Wills, composer and pianist who graduated from the Royal Academy of Music. Arnaldo has been preparing for this recital since January, one month after he had been offered a place on Trinity Laban Conservatoire, with a scholarship that covers £4,000 out of £,9250 for tuition fees. With the help of this scholarship, there is a difference of £5,250 Arnaldo still needs to pay. This is the reason why he is currently advertising a GoFundMe campaign to collect funds for his studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
