Come and help us celebrate the Zimbabwe Academy of Music’s 70th Birthday!

This is a fundraising event for the Academy which needs to replenish its depleted resources after Covid, in order to continue to inspire the next few generations through its innovative work in Bulawayo and surrounding remote communities.

The programme will include the beautiful song ‘Morgen’ by Richard Strauss sung by Dame Felicity Lott, the famous ‘Archduke Trio’ by Beethoven played by the renowned Fidelio Trio and a world premiere especially written for this event by Bulawayan composer Vusisizwe Ndebele. There will be a special appearance by the young cellist from Bulawayo, Emma Price, and the evening will be introduced by Tasmin Little CBE.

Join us all for drinks after and raise a glass to Michael Bullivant OBE who has kept the Academy open for the last 50 years or so!
