Valentine’s Day Special: Holocene (ft. Jas Kayser / Ava Joseph) + Chloe Leigh

Book Now

Whether you’re single, in love, somewhere in between, or simply looking for a memorable night out, celebrate Valentine’s Day with a captivating evening of live music. Expect a smouldering mix of rock, folk and indie, inspired by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, Florence Welch and Leonard Cohen.

Holocene is the alias for front-woman, Sian Kelly; an artist and songwriter from Southwest London who will be performing with her good friends (and Heart Beat alumni) vocalist Ava Joseph and Jas Kayser, fresh from touring last year as the drummer for Lenny Kravitz.

Holocene illustrates sombre worlds and the stark realities within human experience through her foreboding lyricism and chest-hitting mood shifts. Holocene pairs her cinematic soundscapes, and heavy guitars with a voice which celebrates the darker qualities of the female range, telling stories of loss; learning in love and inevitable change. Her music is a product of growing up with a messy array of grunge and jazz records as her childhood soundtrack; from Nina Simone, to Pearl Jam, to Portishead. Holocene’s music aches of real life and the toil of love in all of its façades.

Sian Kelly will be playing unreleased music from her new album which is set for release this year.  Sian will be performing some of her more acoustic and raw songs, which are centred on themes of loss, heartache and overcoming life’s many overwhelming limitations, taking influences from the sounds of Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac and Florence Welch.

Chloe Leigh – Support Act

Inspired by wordsmiths such as Leonard Cohen and Laura Marling, Chloe Leigh’s music portrays sincere tales of love and loss, longing and laughter. Her signature blend of folk and flamenco styles has taken Chloe to many places, from the fine fields of Glastonbury festival to dark jazz bars in Berlin, and even to Nashville. Chloe has recently been working on a new collection of songs for debut album, inspired by her southern Spanish roots, that represents her unique international sound.
