Join us for a free cafe concert with Arnaldo Cogorno as a part of our Piano in The Elms Festival. He is a Venezuelan pianist who graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a Bachelor’s degree. Cogorno started his studies when he was six years old in his hometown in Venezuela, and in 2015 moved to Caracas to continue his studies. There, he made his debut in the Fedora Alemán Concert Hall with the Evencio Castellanos Youth Orchestra playing Mozart’s piano concerto no.23 in 2018. That same year he moved to London, where he was offered the Trinity College Scholarship and the NOSWAD Scholarship to support his studies In Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Since his arrival he has also been a teacher at World Heart Beat Music Academy and Cycling Music Teachers, giving several recitals and concerts and holding a teaching agenda for young talented students. Whilst at World Heart Beat, he studied with pianist and composer Michael Csanyi-Wills, he then has studied with Hilary Coates at Trinity Laban since 2020.
