We are delighted once again to welcome our annual 51st State Band + 51st State Big Band performance to World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens venue!

The 51st State Band are our flagship youth band, conceived by Founder and Artistic Director Sahana Gero.  With boundless energy and talent, the band represents the spirit of the World Heart Beat Music Academy – bringing young gifted musicians of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to learn and play together.

The 51st State Big Band is dedicated to teaching young musicians the orchestral heritage of jazz. With Duke Ellington repertoire at its core, the 18-piece band showcases classic, swinging transcriptions whilst also providing a platform for students to arrange for the band themselves.

Our 51st State Band concerts are unmissable events. This is your chance to see the young musicians really shine, showcasing the vitality and dedication that World Heart Beat students really thrive on.
