Wandsworth Museum and World Heart Beat – Paintings of love Exhibition 7th May 2014 inspired by Nelson Mandela
Wandsworth Museum and World Heart Beat Music Academy are launching a borough-wide schools art exchange with children in South Africa through the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. We invite children aged 5-18 to submit a piece of 2D artwork (painting, drawing, print, collage) or a poem no larger than A3 size that responds to the following Nelson Mandela’s quote
“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again” Nelson Mandela
At the end of the Arts Festival, the art work will be posted to South Africa to be distributed by the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund
