World Heart Beat

The Oracle Residency at Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival

Working in collaboration with The Oracle Collective, a creative agency of 35 young artists, World Heart Beat will be adding an explosive jazz, soul and R&B concert and free music industry workshops at this year’s annual Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival.

The project will include Endz Jazz Soul, a concert showcasing the best emerging musicians from across London (Thursday 15 June) as well as two free workshops for aspiring musicians to learn first-hand about working in the music industry (Friday 16 June).

The Oracle Collective is led by emerging singer, songwriter and producer Anjelo Disons, a Wandsworth-based resident who also works with World Heart Beat on its EMERGE project. The Collective has a strong following and has gained a reputation for putting London’s freshest jazz, soul and R&B talent on the map.

The two free workshops (In My Shoes and Production Taster) will be held at our state of the art media studios and will include an in-depth look at the UK music scene, explore life in the music industry, as well as discussing how to make and produce quality music without expensive software and equipment.

The Wandsworth Arts Fringe is the council’s flagship arts festival (9-25 June) which promises 17 days of art, dance, theatre, comedy, circus and street performance across a number of venues across Wandsworth.
