World Heart Beat has been selected to take part in the Big Give Arts for Impact campaign 2026 – and we would love your support!

From midday today (17 March) until midday on 24 March, every donation made to World Heart Beat will be doubled, helping us raise £50,000 to support children facing disadvantage through music education.

Thanks to the generous support of The Reed Foundation, the Sutcliffe Family and Domino Recording Company, we have secured £25,000 in match funding – which will be unlocked when supporters donate during the campaign week.

At World Heart Beat, we see music not simply as an art form, but as a powerful way for children to find confidence, belonging and hope. Every donation helps ensure that children facing disadvantage can access the joy, stability and opportunity that music brings.

Your gift during campaign week will go twice as far.

Too many children in our local community grow up without access to music. Neighbourhoods surrounding our academy fall within the lowest 20–30% nationally for child deprivation, and children from low-income families are the least likely to learn an instrument.

Yet we see every day how transformative music can be.

This campaign will help us support 20 children for a full year of music education and care, including:

  • Weekly instrumental lessons
  • Loan instruments so children can practise at home
  • Ensemble participation and performances
  • Masterclasses with professional musicians
  • Snacks and refreshments after school
  • Dedicated pastoral support for children facing instability

Please consider giving what you can – no gift is too small, and every pound will help a child find confidence, belonging and opportunity through music.
