The World Heart Beat Chamber Orchestra’s debut concert was a great success with wide-spread support and appreciation from the Wandsworth community for our young, talented musicians. The event, in partnership with Wandsworth Fringe, was held at the World Heart Beat Music Academy on the 14th, May 2017, in the evening.
An outstanding group of musicians played some of the most celebrated classical music including excerpts from Shostakovitch’s jazz suite, Strauss’ waltzes, as well as some rarely performed moments from films such as Toy Story, and Monsters Inc. All well-known musical ensembles were very popular, appealing to all age groups.
“I was at your concert on Sunday with my two children and I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. The playing was of a fantastic standard, and the arrangements were terrific. Congratulations.” – Bernard Hughes
