About the event
Step into a dreamlike world where music and visuals bring the night to life. Award-winning pianist Rieko Makita and the 2024/25 New Elizabethan Award Winner, Londinium Consort present an immersive performance blending live piano, rarely heard early European instruments, electronics, and stunning visual projections by Teodora Serbanescu and Bethan Hancock.
From Debussy’s Clair de Lune and Nocturnes to unexpected gems by diverse composers, this unique program reimagines the night’s beauty. New works for piano and electronics by Delyth Field and Rieko Makita weave in experimental textures, capturing the mystery and allure of the evening hours. Each piece offers a unique perspective, uniting past and present in an evocative soundscape.
