Celebrating Ernest's music that blends jazz, mento and reggae with percussive guitar solos incorporating rhythm 'n' blues and jazz inflections
Join us for an evening of good vibes and pulsating rhythms as we celebrate the music of the legendary musician Ernest Ranglin.
Ranglin is best known for his intricate guitar stylings, fusing elements of reggae from his native Jamaica and jazz from the US.
The band will take you on a journey through some of Ranglin’s most popular works including cuts from the iconic ‘Below The Bassline‘ album.
Led by bassist Nick Cohen who spent time touring with Ernest, the band will feature the firepower of Femi Temowo on guitar duties, Jason Rebello on keys and Kenrick Rowe on drums.
This is a standing show as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
