Why is Heart Beat different?
The academy, founded in 2009, welcomes over 350 students to its music learning spaces each week, offering a broad range of instrumental lessons, as well as the chance to play in ensembles such as jazz, orchestra and gig bands. We are committed to equality in access to music education and over 50% of our students learn for free. Our teachers are professional musicians who are committed inspiring and nurturing the next generation of artists.
In November 2022, we opened our second music education space, concert hall and recording studio at Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms.
Students who learn at Heart Beat become part of our creative community, make lifelong friends and are supported to achieve their full potential.
