Orchestra
Our Tuesday orchestra is a brilliant opportunity for young musicians to immerse themselves in the classical orchestral world, in a tremendously wonderful atmosphere, directed by Michael Csányi-Wills and supported by Laci Olah.
Michael Csányi-Wills is an award winning composer, pianist and conductor and has written works ranging from chamber music to choral and orchestral works to film scores. He was composer in residence with the Welsh Sinfonia from September 2013-2016 and his recent orchestral works have been widely performed throughout the UK and commissions have taken him around Europe, Australia, China, and the USA. In 2016 Michael was invited as resident composer to the Constella Arts Festival in Cincinnati, where his Violin concerto entitled “Revisions of the Earth” was premiered by violinist Tatiana Berman.
World Heart Beat Orchestra invites young violinists, violists, cellists, bass players as well as orchestral woodwind and brass players to join and be a part of this exciting ensemble.
We also welcome a few adults to join as supporting musicians – if you would like to apply please do.
