EMERGE Production Course Recruitment 

EMERGE is a year-long artist and music production development programme for young people aged 16–25 who are serious about developing their creative practice, building industry knowledge, and growing as producers and collaborators. 

APPLY BY 10TH SEPTEMBER

The programme runs weekly across three terms from September 2026 – June 2027 and is split into two age groups: 

  • Group 1: Ages 16–18, 17:15 – 18:30 
  • Group 2: Ages 19–25, 18:45pm – 20:15  

Through hands-on workshops, masterclasses, mentoring and creative collaboration, participants will develop technical music production skills in our state-of-the-art music studio, alongside artistic identity, music industry knowledge, and professional confidence. 

The programme includes: 

  • Weekly music production sessions 
  • Artist development and feedback opportunities 
  • Industry guest speakers and masterclasses through our monthly Creative networks  
  • Creative collaboration and networking 
  • Recording and performance opportunities 
  • Peer sharing and creative community building 

EMERGE is for young people who: 

  • Have a strong interest in music production and songwriting  
  • Are actively creating music or wanting to begin developing original work 
  • Are curious, committed and open to collaboration 
  • Want to develop their skills in a creative and supportive environment 
  • Are interested in pathways into the music and creative industries 
  • Already make music, beats or songs in some form (even informally) 
  • Can commit to attending regularly across the year 
  • Want to connect & collaborate with other emerging artists and producers 

No formal qualifications are required, but regular attendance, participation, commitment, and enthusiasm are expected. 

Taking the EMERGE course has been an eye-opening experience. I’ve gained hands-on skills using mixing desks and working in real studios. But even more than that, I’ve learned how the industry works and how I can find my space in it.
