On 21 February, World Heart Beat Music Academy proudly hosted the prestigious World Heart Beat Awards 2026 celebrating world-class artists and organisations whose exceptional contributions have enriched the global cultural landscape.
The Award Ceremony was held at World Heart Beat, Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms, London during the special Peace Through Music Concert featuring legendary maestros Ustad Kamal Sabri (internationally acclaimed sarangi maestro, composer, and educator) and Ustad Tari Khan (world-renowned tabla maestro). The evening stood as a powerful celebration of harmony, unity, and the universal language of music.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ustad Sarvar Sabri in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the International Music Scene in the UK. Through decades of dedication, performance, and mentorship, he has played a significant role in strengthening the presence of Indian classical music in the UK.
The Innovative & Creative Excellence Award was conferred upon the International Museum Of The Saree (USA) for outstanding innovation and creative excellence in re-imagining and celebrating saree heritage on the global stage.
The Global Iconic Artist Award was jointly awarded to Ustad Tari Khan and Ustad Kamal Sabri for their extraordinary contribution to the global heritage of world music, honouring their lifelong dedication to preserving and elevating classical traditions internationally.
