51st State Band in Concert: Watch Here

15th November 2013, Putney Arts Theatre

Once again, 51st State Band hosted their annual concert on 15th November 2013 and as always, it promised to be a treat. All year our members have been working hard and playing weekly in order to perfect their pieces.

An exciting evening of music showcasing the variety, energy and dedication that the students of the World Heart Beat Music Academy thrive on. Patrick Clahar, one of the leading saxophonists of his generation, also joined the 51st State Band on stage. He is a powerful, post-Coltrane tenor player.

“A marvel on tenor… inventive and melodic” – Jazz Review

Thank you for another amazing concert – I look forward to it eagerly each year and this year brought several friends who all thought it was truly fantastic. Thank you for giving both my children the opportunity to play as part of such a great band – they are so lucky to be able to join in with this.

My heart is smiling. We cannot wait to come to the academy.

    With Much Respect and Gratitude
