World Heart Beat is delighted to announce the return of its hugely entertaining 51st State Band – live in concert this November at the Putney Arts Theatre.
The 51st State Band are our flagship youth band, conceived by Founder and Artistic Director Sahana Gero. With boundless energy and talent, the band represents the spirit of the academy – bringing young gifted musicians of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to learn and play together.
Tonight they will be joined by the award-winning Cuban jazz violinist Omar Puente, for a very special evening offering an inspirational and vibrant programme of jazz, rock, soul and film scores, ideal for anyone aged 5 to 95 years!
The 51st State Band concert has become an unmissable event in the Wandsworth arts calendar; an assured night of animated musical performance for the local community and families alike.
It’s a chance to see the young musicians really shine, and showcases the vitality and dedication that World Heart Beat students really thrive on.
