I just wanted to say thank you for inviting me to your launch party yesterday evening. It really was a magnificent occasion and it was so uplifting to see so many young people who clearly have a great love for making music. When I was younger I tried to learn the piano and the clarinet, but could never maintain the discipline and dedication to practice, but perhaps I would have been better had I had an environment like your Academy where the sense of involvement is so infectious and encouraging.

Thank you for what you do with such a good and sincere heart and reminding us all that all we have to do is get involved. In that regard you have made it easier for all of us to do so. World Heart Beat has existed for a long time, since you tapped onto it thousands of human beings have been enriched and benefitted. Now manifest in Wandsworth on Kimber Road where myself, John and James used to play at the “Adventure Playground” World Heart Academy offers a new and old adventure for all.

Thank you so much – for the party, for the invite but also for all the inspiration. You really do work your magic with Maisie and get her to do things I fail to persuade her to do! We are very lucky to have you.

It was a splendid occasion, lovely friendly atmosphere, no feeling of separation between people there. Your plans are very ambitious, but realisable. The building is welcoming I very much enjoyed the colour schemes. Musicians don’t often realise how our surroundings affect our moods, & therefore what we can undertake!

Your opening was amazing. The speeches were so inspiring, and must have made every single person there want to go out and do something for someone else, even if not as magnificent as what you are doing. The children and the music was all gorgeous and food and the beautiful building and the most wonderful atmosphere. It was all so inspiring and all so exciting for the future.
