World Heart Beat at Nine Elms: An Opportunity for Thousands of Children
Since 2000 World Heart Beat has transformed hundreds of young lives through music – brought to them at the very highest levels, with the financial barriers removed. Now we need your support to reach thousands more.
World Heart Beat has been selected from a highly competitive field to create a new music-led Music Academy of excellence in the heart of the dynamic regeneration of Nine Elms. From autumn 2019, we will open our doors and provide high quality, innovative, and an aspirational environment in which we will deliver our combined arts events, including music, visual arts, film, poetry, and dance.
We will create 750 square metres of welcoming space that centres around a 110 seat, fully equipped auditorium and includes recording facilities, music rooms, digital rooms, and a cafe. We will greatly enrich the music and cultural life of South London whilst bringing the power of music to hundreds of more children and young people every year – at least half of whom would normally be denied this opportunity.
Take a Seat – Join World Heart Beat in supporting the next generation of musicians
We are inviting you to name a seat or group of seats in our new, world-class performance venue: a wonderful way to celebrate your enjoyment of our work whilst making an important donation towards our life-changing work. It could be your own name, that of a loved one, or someone who has inspired you. It could be a gift to mark an occasion or to remember someone special.
Your chosen name or names will remain in place for 10 years, acknowledging your love for vibrant musical performances long into the future.
We will have 110 elegant and comfortable seats waiting for dedications:
- Seats in other rows: £1,000
- Seats in front two rows: £5,000
- Orchestra Seats: £10,000 – Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information
Seat naming gifts will be acknowledged through a smart brass plaque bearing the name of your choice (up to 25 characters). We will also list supporters’ names on our website (launching in Summer 2018) and invite supporters to special events in the run-up to and following the launch of the new venue.
