Enjoy learning French Horn
Known for its harmonious melodies through to rich fanfares, the French horn is one of the most elegant and regal of instruments, and is superb in an orchestra as it blends beautifully and stands out when called upon to do so. It is indeed a necessity for any orchestra or concert band.
The French horn uses the smallest mouthpiece in the brass family. It takes more than just breathing techniques and lip tension to stay in-tune – musicians place their hands in French horns not only to hold them in position, but to also alter the pitch of certain notes.
At World Heart Beat Music Academy, French Horn students are taught by specialist teachers who will work with them to join our orchestra and play in our 51st State Band. They will be guided from beginners to advanced, taking them through the music grades as needed.
