Rising star Josiah Wade is the name on everyone’s lips. A virtuoso pianist equally at home playing jazz and classical music, he’s recently been featured on the popular Channel 4 Programme, The Piano. Acknowledged by superstar American musician Jon Batiste as “a refreshing musician with the potential to make a huge impact on the music world,” Josiah is going from strength to strength.
A serious student of both jazz and classical music, Josiah has been developing his skills through the lauded Julian Joseph Jazz Academy under Julian’s guidance and also studying with Michael Csanyi-Wills at World Heart Beat Music Academy.
Through the partnership between these academies, Josiah has experienced performance opportunities at respected jazz venues and has already made his classical debut at the prestigious Wigmore Hall in a programme alongside major artists Branford Marsalis, Julian Joseph, Paco Peña and Viktoria Mullova.
Josiah Wade plays with a warmth and vigorous poignant energy that conjures the spiritual power of a great musical poet.
Come and listen to a new piano superstar emerging right here and now at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens!
Josiah is inviting a very talented special guest, fellow contestant on The Piano – Anisa Ford, to perform a short opening set.

Anisa Ford – Rising Piano Virtuoso
Thirteen-year-old Anisa Ford is fast becoming a name to watch in the world of classical piano. A self-taught prodigy turned rising star, Anisa captivated audiences and mentors alike in Series 3 of Channel 4’s acclaimed programme The Piano, where her heartfelt performance of Mikhail Glinka’s The Skylark left a lasting impression.
Anisa began playing piano during the pandemic at the age of nine. What started as a way to ease the frustrations of lockdown, learning from YouTube tutorials and experimenting by ear, quickly blossomed into a serious passion. Soon, she began formal lessons and has since cultivated a unique style marked by expressive depth, technical precision, and a maturity of interpretation rarely seen at her age.
Described by Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste as “a powerful human who happens to be twelve,” Anisa dreams of performing on the world’s greatest stages, with her eyes set firmly on the Royal Albert Hall.
Anisa Ford is a young pianist with rare depth, drive, and imagination. Don’t miss the chance to experience her unique musical voice live in concert, a star in the making.
