Erisa Ogawa is a multi award winning Flutist and a Composer; born in Yokohama, Japan. She recently released her debut Album ‘Sky is the limit~a letter to Salt Spring~’ from the Chigusa Records which includes her original compositions, Brazilian songs, arranged Jazz Standards, and ‘Beat Boxing Flute’
Erisa was awarded First prize and the best performance award at “Chigusa Jazz Competition”, which is held by the oldest historical Jazz records cafe in Japan, where many leading Japanese Jazz musicians, including ‘ Sadao Watanabe’, ’Toshiko Akiyoshi’, ’Terumasa Hino’, learned to play Jazz.
