Read the full newsletter >> Since 2008, Music for Liberia has raised money for education in Liberia through a series of concerts and events featuring world renowned classical, African and jazz musicians. World Heart Beat students performed with performance poet Usifu Jalloh at a charity concert for Music For Liberia in November 2015.
An evening of inspiring music, home-cooked West African food and magical storytelling. Proceeds will go towards the Mother Blessings Orphanage in Liberia, to buy land for new housing and a school for the children.

These concerts feature a blend of traditional instruments from the repertoire of both Celtic and Indian music, resulting in a beautiful sound. Our upcoming concert will be on Wednesday 5th of July 2017, at 6pm, at World Heart Beat Music Academy.
World Heart Beat Music Academy hosted the United Society of Writers for the launch of their contemporary poetry anthology Happiness: The Delight-Tree. British virtuoso vocalist and winner of London Jazz Awards Best Vocalist, Cleveland Watkiss performed live with the Stardust Vocal Improvising Choir at the World Heart Beat Music Academy in London on 12th May 2015 as part of Wandsworth Arts Festival and Fringe. (more…)
On the 26th of February, we were invited to perform at the Speaker’s House in the House of Commons. After only two weeks of rehearsing together, the Brazilian artists and students delivered a stunning and uplifting performance in one of the most prestigious places in the UK. (more…)

World Heart Beat Music Academy Students and the amazing Brazilian Resident Artists were invited to perform at the Brazilian Embassy. The young musicians played fantastically well, and it was wonderful to see how confident they were singing in Portuguese and playing a style that was completely new to them only 2 months previously!
