Recently, we were pleased to welcome Argentinian band Patera to the World Heart Beat Music Academy. Patera (which means “little boat”) are currently promoting their latest album, Selvas. They took a break from their tour to join us on World Heart Beat Hour to talk about their music and the fantastic Argentinian music workshops they had been leading in schools around Wandsworth. The band are making a documentary while on tour, visiting sites of cultural importance around Europe.
“Thanks again for hosting the workshops in the schools in London for the UK leg for Patera. It gave meaning to the rest of our tour all over Europe, which had only been gigs up until then! Hope we can do more educative music work together.”
“It was a really unique experience, the children were very receptive to our music. It was wonderful!”
“There was a great buzz in the school following the performance, from both pupils and teachers.”
